Ireland is a country brimming with fantastic folk tales and lore. Everyone knows the legend of the leprechaun's gold but the wee folk never run out of clever ideas to keep their treasure safe. Follow the tales of wit and wonder while learning about Irish tradition. Blame my heritage, but the Irish know how to spin a good story. Tomie dePaola is one of my favorite illustrators and his account of folk tales are always entertaining.
