Rainforest Books
From cute and fuzzy to creepy crawly, discover the wonders of rainforests.
By Jamie McElroy
Rainforests are a colorful and fascinating feature of our planet that capture the imaginations of both children and adults. The incredible magnitude of exotic flora and fauna have just begun to be studied. New species are uncovered every day by explorers. Rainforests are places of reverie and possibility, yet they are as unforgiving as they are beautiful. Learn about these majestic forests and their importance for our planet's eco system, as well as why they need to be preserved.  A Walk in the Rainforest by Kristin Joy Pratt was read to me in third grade during our rainforest unit and I still enjoy reading it.
