By Jamie McElroy
Black History Month celebrates the outstanding achievements and sacrifices made by people like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and the civilians to end racial segregation. Their efforts not only changed life for their generation but many generations to come. These books do a beautiful job of telling important messages in a simple and easy to understand format, also accompanied by fantastic illustrations.
