Product Description:
Pictionary is the game of quick draw. This classic party game plays just like charades, but on paper. Instead of acting, you draw out the clues. All you need is a little imagination and a pencil. Updated with over 1,000 fun, new words. For 3 or more players, ages 12 and up. Imported.

Can you draw a cat? How about sketching something that conveys the word area or The English Patient? Can you do it in less than 60 seconds while your team yells the wrong answers at you and the other team is close to getting it right? Welcome to the game of Pictionary, in which players attempt to guess words from sketches made by other members of their team. The words can be objects, people, actions, places, animals, or the dreaded "difficult," although in the heat of an exciting game, even house can be difficult. Word cards are randomly selected, the timer is activated, and players begin scribbling franticly as they race to beat the clock. Correct answers are rewarded with a toss of the die and progression around the board toward victory. Pictionary veterans should note that this is an updated edition of the game, including more than 1,000 new words to challenge even the most experienced quick-draw artist. Pencils, sketchpads, and a 60-second timer are included. Pictionary is for four or more players. --Simon Leake

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great family fun
My family has played this game for many years. It's been enjoyed by all the kids and adults...let's see; there are 28 of us all together. And extended family has been adding it, too, to their lists of faves. (Other family faves include Taboo, Imposter, and Scattergories.)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Must have board game!
This is one of the games I pull out for parties/get togethers that EVERYONE likes to play.

Here's basically how you play... You have teams of two (at least two teams, I don't believe there is a maximum number of teams) that alternate drawing pictures. You roll to see how many spaces you move and you land on a color. You then draw a card and draw a picture of the word matching the color. Your team member must guess the word your drawing. Seems simple, huh? Actually you can't write any ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Game That Saved Christmas
When it first came out almost 20 years ago, I saw this game at a bookstore and bought it to take on a Christmas skiing vacation with my family. Unfortunately, my mother ended up having emergency gallbladder surgery instead. We didn't have gifts that year, but we did made it to Colorado and spent hours by the fire laughing until our ribs ached playing this crazy game. It doesn't matter if you can draw, it's how fast you can put something down that halfway suggests the word they give you, and how ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - From the Board Games Editor at BellaOnline.com
This game is a new classic, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It came out just as the board game market was being flooded with Trivial Pursuit imitators, and because it was so different, it stood out in the crowd and became a huge hit.

It's become something of a cultural icon, being featured in movies (remember that great scene in When Harry Met Sally, where Sally's trying to draw "Baby Talk" and Jess shouts out "Baby Fish Mouth"?) and has become a staple in many game closets. ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Icebreaker
We used Pictionary as an ice breaker with a group of new hires at my company. It really invigorated the group. The only thing is that the words are that challenging for adults.
