Editorial Review:
Product Description:
Dolch sight words should be recognized instantly in order for reading to progress smoothly. This book uses all of the Dolch sight words for second graders and many for first graders.
The delightful stories and poems have these themes: accepting yourself; sharing; caring about others; kindness; being grateful; doing what is right instead of yielding to peer pressure; sharing rather than fighting; telling the truth; being considerate; being careful about strangers; and realizing it is not your fault when someone is abusive.
This book can be used for regular, remedial, or enrichment instruction because the ages of the children are not shown. Most stories only have animal characters.

My granddaughter's favorite story was the one entitled "Under the Can." She squealed with delight when she discovered what was "under the can." The "word find" exercises in the book were fun for my granddaughter also. They ... Read More
