 Rating: - great teaching aide!Systematic Sequential Phonics they use has proven to be a very valuable tool in teaching my ESE students the rules of phonics. They have come an amazingly long way using this book. Rating: - This one is the best!I own a number of Patricia Cunningham's books. I use many of her techniques. But this book is the best of the "Making Words" series for teachers who want a 'systematic sequential' plan. Other Making Words books seem to be for better spellers. My students needed the careful pacing, beginning with predominately short vowels, that is found in this book. This is the book I use every day!
