Six titles give toddlers an early start in learning a foreign language at the same time that they are learning their own. The left-hand page gives picture-caption word in English and the right-hand page gives the Spanish equivalent. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Misleading descriptionI was searching for a book on introducing numbers in SPANISH to my child. The online description reads as though this is an English-Spanish book, however, to my surprise, it is FRENCH and English! If I were looking to teach French to my child this would be a fine intro, but I was misled and disappointed. Rating: - a read aloud bookMy two year old and I enjoy this book. There are no sentences in this book, only the numbers written out in Spanish and English, one number per page. Each page shows the bears in different activities. I bought the book for my six year old, who is learning Spanish. He is a beginning reader, but is not interested in this book, since it is only the numbers. I would recommend this book for preschoolers. Rating: - Great bilingual book for children!I just got this book for my 14-month old and he absolutely loves it. The illustrations are nicely done and clear. The book shows numbers in both languages and is very easy to follow. He already knows many words in English and Spanish, and I am looking forward to having him learn French, also. It's been a few years since I took French, so the pronunciations for each of the words are very helpful! I wish the publishers made this series in board books.
