Rating: - great bookI bought this book for my daughter because I remember some of the rhymes from when I was a child. The english translations are good but cannot be sung to the same rhythm as the spanish versions. I am not familiar with all of the songs so a CD would have been great. I'm happy with the purchase though. Rating:  - Better than AverageIt's a nice looking book and has some great songs and rhymes. I don't read music really well, so I have make up the tunes as I go along. My mom used to sing me the title song, and the rhymes are great - especially 1-2-3 CHOCOLATE. Would receive 5 if there was a CD. Authentic Latin-American collection. Rating: - Not too difficult to read, but difficult to sing!The vocabulary is basic enough, however, due to the way the songs are translated, it is dificult to sing to the same rhythm... Rating:  - Nice, but get the library editionI agree with the positive reviews, but I don't know why the publisher recommends it for ages 4 to 8. My 2-year-old has learned and sings the songs triumphantly. The library edition is simply a hardcover edition of the book bound with the original colorful cover rather than a dustcover. Since it is a good book to keep, I recommend the more expensive edition.
